Institutional and Community Development
My expertise in institutional and community includes work as
an administrator in higher education as well as consulting in the business
world. My work in higher education
focused on construction of a Master’s program in Teacher Education in Early
Childhood Education and serving as the Coordinator of that program for many
years. Also, I served as the Chair of
the Department of Educational Psychology at the University of Illinois at
Chicago, and in many administrative capacities at the University of Illinois at
Chicago. In addition, I serve as a
consultant in the business and not-for-profit world providing insights about team
building, the contribution of play to productivity and community development, identification of goals for each program or
administrative unit, institution of effective structural units for decision making, and feedback mechanism.
